The Huntington area is improving daily and one group that is getting into the spirit of helping improve downtown is the Community Gardeners of Huntington. Basically, they are creating community gardens in the downtown Huntington area, fostering a sense of community, and feeding the needy. The group is also planning to work with the Weed and Seed project to begin a training garden at that facility, which, over time will translate to creating gardens and green spaces in the over 80 lots.

The group will he having a meeting today at 2:00pm at the downtown Huntington Library to discuss the immediate plans. If you are interested at all you should show up. I hope to see you there!
