The Huntington Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Downtown Live Committee will host its 2nd Annual Children’s Art Festival Extravaganza (CAFÉ), from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, June 6, between Third and Fourth Avenues on the Ninth Street Plaza.

The CAFÉ event will be themed “A Walk Through the Arts.” This free event will include activities for children 12 years and younger. Some of the arts featured will include: print making, book making, finger painting, tie-dye art, sculptures, a community mural and others.

The Downtown Live Committee is part of the Huntington Regional Chamber of Commerce. The committee’s goal is to plan and execute events downtown that will create retail and restaurant traffic for area businesses. The committee is looking for artists to sell items during the event in a sidewalk art sale. Booth space will be free and assigned on a first come first serve basis. There will be a $5 charge for a city vendor permit the day of the event. All local artists are welcome to participate.
