If you have a story about what’s great about Huntington, or why you choose to live here, or why you moved here in the first place we would love to hear it. You can share it with us in any number of ways; via email at why@whyhuntington.com, via this sites contact form, or you can meet me in person this weekend at Ritter Park near the picnic tables. We will be having a meet-n-write event at 2pm on Sunday March 22nd.

At the event folks from all over the community will be coming together to write down their stories for inclusion on the website. So please, stop by and share your tale. Furthmore if you’d just like to volunteer to help out the site (by taking photos, or interviewing people) we’d love to have you helping!

In every city there are negative people but this is our chance to try and change the mentality of those people in Huntington and work on improving things by focusing on what is already great. Let’s come together and start getting the voices of good heard. I hope to see you Sunday!
