Did you know Huntington’s downtown is on the National Register of Historic Places? I didn’t until today when I was directed to this Walking Tour of Downtown Huntington Map. There is a nice printout PDF version and a mp3 audio walking tour. This is very cool. I think, as soon as we have a nice day of weather on a weekend, that I’ll take my family out for a tour.

The map on the linked web page is a flash based interactive map so you can hover over each point on the map to get more details. The PDF is a nice four page printout that you can take and read as you go. I haven’t had a chance to listen to the MP3 yet so I’m not familiar with it’s pacing or how it actually works.
